Representing some of the world's most respected furniture, lighting and interiors brands, Monologue works with private clients, interior designers, architects and developers across the UK and internationally. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a commercially minded and design-focused Furniture Sales Associate to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a passion for design, interiors and client service. Working from our Mayfair showroom, you will engage with private clients, architects and interior designers, helping them discover and specify products for residential and commercial projects. The role combines sales, project coordination and administration within a fast-paced international design business.
You will be responsible for managing a high volume of enquiries and quotations from clients across the UK and worldwide, building strong relationships and delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial enquiry through to order completion.
Key Responsibilities- Managing and responding to a high volume of client enquiries by email, telephone and in person.
- Preparing quotations and product proposals.
- Supporting clients with furniture, lighting and interior product selection.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with private clients, architects, interior designers and developers.
- Managing sales opportunities from enquiry through to order confirmation.
- Coordinating with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times and product information.
- Processing orders and maintaining accurate records within company systems.
- Following up quotations and generating new sales opportunities.
- Supporting showroom presentation and visual merchandising standards.
- Assisting with project coordination and after-sales service.
- Working closely with colleagues to achieve sales objectives and business targets.
- Representing Monologue professionally at client meetings, showroom events and industry functions.
- Proven experience in luxury retail, furniture sales, interiors or a design-led environment.
- Strong sales ability with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence dealing with high-net-worth private clients and design professionals.
- Experience preparing quotations and managing multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.

Full-time, showroom-based position in Mayfair, London. Regular Saturday working as part of a rota. Flexibility to support occasional evening events and client functions.
