The Field Sales Engineer will be responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory.

This person is to engage with key customers and distribution partners securing design wins incorporating MPS products and services.

Essential Functions

  • Contribute to MPS EU Revenue growth through direct and in-direct technical sales activities.
  • Manage existing distribution and non-direct sales channel in the assigned geographic territory.
  • Develop solid technical understanding of our products and relevant solutions.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow MPS business.
  • Gather customer feedback towards the development of next generation MPS solutions.
  • Drive the customer requirements internally and manage all levels of follow-up and support ensuring that the customer’s needs and requirements are exceeded
  • Work as a team with the assigned FAE and effectively manage this resource to maximize value-add to the customer.

Qualifications

  • BSEE with 2+ year’s power management and analog systems experience.
  • Ability to interface directly with customers and solve customer problems.
  • Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills, self-motivated and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels written and oral.
  • Oral/written proficiency in English.
  • Willing to travel up to 25% time
