In this role, you will:
- Define and lead the technical strategy and architecture for our platform, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and secure for enterprise customers.
- Set the engineering vision and execution model, translating product and business objectives into high-impact technical roadmaps.
- Partner closely with Product, Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, and the Executive team to ensure engineering is a core driver of business impact.
- Lead and grow a high-performing engineering organisation with a focus on delivery discipline, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Drive engineering processes and standards that enable predictable delivery while maintaining high engineering quality.
- Ensure our systems meet enterprise expectations for performance, uptime, and security.
- Represent engineering in cross-functional company planning and decision-making forums.
- Foster a culture of psychological safety, ownership, and high accountability across engineering teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- Has significant engineering leadership experience, including hands-on technical credibility early in their career.
- Has designed and scaled complex platforms — especially in data-intensive or AI-enabled environments.
- Thrives at both strategic and tactical levels, setting direction while enabling teams to execute.
- Understands how to balance feature velocity with architectural quality and scalability.
- Has experience building and scaling engineering teams (ideally 30+ engineers).
- Is customer-centric and treats engineering as a lever for business outcomes.
- Communicates clearly with engineers, business stakeholders, and executives alike.
- Has experience in fast-moving, growth-oriented environments (startups or scale-ups).
