As a Shop Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service in a busy retail environment.

Location: Upminster (East London).

Contract Type: 1‑year fixed‑term part‑time contract with the possibility of extension.

Pay: Main rate: £12.71 per hour. Overtime rate: £15.89 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all Health & Safety and Food Hygiene procedures are followed
  • Handling sales transactions as a till operator/cashier
  • Supporting merchandising and stock replenishment
  • Assisting with daily store operations in a food retail environment
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming store.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food retail preferred
  • Basic English and spoken knowledge of any Eastern European language
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Ability to work flexible retail shifts.
