Our client, a thriving and award-winning legal company in Basingstoke, are seeking an experienced Solicitor in Residential Property to join their incredibly busy Residential Property team. As an experienced Residential Property Solicitor, you should have been qualified for a minimum of three years and have experience in dealing with lease extensions and high value, complex property transactions, providing expert legal advice and assistance to their clients throughout their conveyancing journey. A true ambassador, helping maintain their reputation for excellence and generate new business for the team.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Running the full conveyancing process, taking a property from instruction to completion.
- Responsible for managing own caseload.
- Assisting with own registrations when post-completions team are out of the office.
- Business development; networking and introducing new clients and relevant third parties to Phillips.
- Upholding compliance regulations in line with our policies and procedures.
- Maintaining CQS standards.
Skills, Qualification and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience post-qualification in Residential Property.
- Previous experience with lease extensions would be advantageous.
- Experience of managing a small team of Legal Secretaries / Administrators desirable, but not essential.
- Highly efficient and self-motivated with strong administrative skills and the ability to delegate judiciously.
- Client focused and empathetic, with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Confident with the use of Microsoft Office package (especially Outlook, Word and ideally Excel) and Case Management Systems.
- Prior experience of LEAP advantageous, but not essential.
- Previous digital dictation experience.
- The ability to remain courteous and friendly even when under pressure.
- Flexible and a team-player.
