The role: As a Kitchen Porter, you will assist in the delivery of amazing brand standards and immaculate kitchen and back of house facilities. You will be responsible for your own work and take pride in the high standard of cleanliness and organisation whilst adhering to all food safety and health and safety guidelines. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be an integral part of the Kitchen and Food and Beverage departments working closely with all team members to deliver exceptional standards.

Whether working in our newly refurbished and extended state of the art main kitchen or spacious banqueting kitchen, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the kitchen/refuse areas and relevant stores, corridors and equipment are cleaned and maintained to the highest degree of cleanliness
  • Use cleaning agents and equipment within the perimeters of COSHH Legislation
  • Follow all food safety and health and safety guidelines
  • Assist in the storage of food

About you: As part of the kitchen team, you will work alongside an award-winning Executive Head Chef and brigade and be part of a growing team who pride themselves in delivering a first-class product every time. We ask that you take pride in your work and have a willingness to learn. You’ll have a real passion for food, and excellent attention to cleanliness to provide consistent standards. You will also:

  • Demonstrate passion for working in a kitchen
  • Demonstrate previous experience in a hotel or restaurant environment
  • Be self-aware and able to evaluate your own work
