About the role

The design team is central to the creative development and production of our flagship publication, Monocle, and our sister magazine, Konfekt. It is also key to the delivery of material for our global events, shops and cafés, as well as our commercial clients.

The role is varied and involves producing and delivering a range of creative outputs. It would suit a confident designer with a strong eye, editorial expertise and the ability to work effectively alongside stakeholders. The team works to tight deadlines with a keen focus on quality.

We are looking for a skilled designer with at least four years of relevant experience, armed with a compelling portfolio showcasing past work in print and publishing, and a passion for all things design.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • An exceptional creative eye with proven experience of editorial, layout and design work for print.
  • Expert use of the relevant tools and software.
  • An ability to adopt the Monocle style and share ideas for innovation.
  • Adaptability and experience of working across a range of unique internal or partner projects.
  • An aspiration to be part of a dedicated team that is proud of the exceptional quality of the work that it creates.
