Our client is one of the UK’s leading providers of materials handling equipment. A part of a highly successful group, and having undergone rapid growth, they are looking to recruit a Field Service Manager.
Responsible for the management of a team of Field Service Engineers based across the North West, inclusive of recruitment, training, motivation and performance management, alongside the management of the service P&L, the role offers the opportunity to join a well recognised business who have a reputation for offering excellent equipment and service.
What\’s Required:
- Experience gained in a similar Field Service Manager role, ideally in the MHE sector (candidates from plant hire or commercial vehicles etc are encouraged to apply)
- An expansive, inclusive yet firm management style
- Exposure to P&L management
- Experience of being the focal point of a service operation, both to internal stakeholders and customers alike
- Ability to work autonomously with the dynamism to overcome challenges and generate positive outcomes
- A \”customer first\” mentality
- A team player, able to collaborate with colleagues at all levels
- Drive, motivation and meticulous attention to detail
