Aprolis UK are actively seeking a Junior Planner to support the planning and effective coordination of deliveries and collections.
The role includes route planning, driver scheduling and administrative support to the Transport Managers. The role will help ensure efficient service delivery, compliance and effective communication with Drivers and Customers.

- Holder of HGV/LGV Class 1/2 Licence

CORE ACTIVITIES:
- Planning of local/national movements for Forklift trucks and specialist materials handling equipment to both our customers and dealer network
- Resource correct transport requirements externally for the group keeping sub-contract work from preferred suppliers to a minimum
- Efficiently utilise Impacts own fleet specialist articulated lorry’s
- Arrange all loads in correct order for weight and delivery time in accordance with legislation and VOSA
- Efficiently process transport delivery and collection details from operations and sales on a daily basis to co-ordinate movements both for internal and external transport
- Management of drivers overtime, nights out, holidays and sickness etc
- Daily liaison with personnel across different levels (Rental controllers/sales team and management) as/when required
General:
To perform any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time within the scope of your knowledge, skills and ability
