Job Description Summary:
Grant Handling are actively recruiting a Parts and Service Coordinator to maximise parts profit within the business, ensure parts stock levels are kept to a minimum, and maintain customer service levels and expectations. To provide excellent service to both internal and external customers.
Person Specification:
- Effective & efficient administrative skills
- Excellent PC/system skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong interpersonal/communication and organisational skills
- Good planning, organisation skills with attention to detail
- Proactive Approach
Core Activities:
- Day to day management of parts department
- Carry out the day-to-day Parts Department Processes (i.e. Parts identification, ordering, receiving, issuing and returns)
- Ensure all deliveries into stock are received and checked correctly
- Manage Van stocks, replenishment and stock accuracy
- Manage daily perpetual and 6 monthly stocktakes
- Preparation of internal and external parts quotations
- Sourcing of Parts
- Service Warranty (where applicable)
- Dealing with customer enquiries, orders and problem solving (i.e. incorrect parts supplied etc.)
- Invoicing
- Run monthly reports as required
- Checking parts booked on engineers job sheets
- System housekeeping (i.e. Accuracy of stock inventory)
- Perform any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time within the scope of your knowledge, skills and ability
