- Effectively manage the team of Maintenance Surveyors, being responsible for minor works projects, insurance claim repairs, the provision of property inspections and subsequent remedial actions.
- Management of the Out of Hours Duty Officer service.
- Support the Head of Asset Management in the setting and management of budgets and to ensure service delivery achieves value for money.
- Accountable for ensuring MHA's compliance with the disrepair and other hazard matters, ensuring inspections, reports and remedies are provided to support the Disrepair Protocol, legal process and compliance with the WHQS Hazard rule 1c (28 Hazards).
- Provide technical advice, support and guidance to Maintenance Team colleagues, MHA’s in house Building Services Team and to Housing and Communities' colleagues as requested.
- Manage services relating to Contract Holder property alteration requests, boundary disputes and party wall issues.
