About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Building Services Administrator to join our Building Services team. This is a key support role, helping to ensure essential services are delivered efficiently and that our tenants receive an excellent customer experience. You’ll work closely with contractors, tenants, and Building Services Managers, supporting compliance activities, performance monitoring and day-to-day administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with contractors carrying out cyclical servicing and inspections of stairlifts, ensuring works are completed on time and all required paperwork is received promptly.
  • Act as a main point of contact for tenants, responding to enquiries, resolving issues and rearranging appointments where necessary.
  • Support Building Services in achieving and maintaining performance targets, including tenant satisfaction feedback and performance data.
  • Assist with the ordering of materials and accurately record goods received.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Building Services Managers, contributing to the smooth running of the service.

About You

You’ll be highly organised, customer-focused and confident managing multiple priorities. You’ll be comfortable communicating with a wide range of people and able to work both independently and as part of a team. You will ideally have:

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within a building, maintenance or housing-related environment.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience of record keeping, monitoring information and maintaining accurate systems.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customer queries, including on occasion difficult conversations.
  • A flexible, adaptable approach and a commitment to excellent customer service.
