This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join an established and bespoke team that is dedicated to actively and creatively supporting children’s care plans with the aim of keeping families together. The Families Together team is an innovative team that focuses on supporting families by undertaking quality assessments and evidence-based interventions to facilitate discharges of Care Orders and Applications for Special Guardianship Orders.

Salary: Salary would be pro rata if not working full-time hours or 52 weeks per year, i.e. 37 hours per week / 32.5 per week for School Teachers.

Location: County Hall (Rhadyr - Usk), NP15 1GA, United Kingdom. The location may change in the future if the service location needs to relocate. Relocation or disturbance expenses will not be paid if this happens.

DBS Check: Appointment to this post is exempt from Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and is subject to the following DBS check: Enhanced with Children Barred List Check.

Welsh Language Assessment: Welsh language skills are desirable.
