You will own the end-to-end third-party lifecycle—from category strategy and sourcing through to contract management and supplier risk oversight. You will lead a small procurement team and set a clear three-year strategy aligned to cost efficiency, digital transformation, operational resilience, and ESG priorities. Working closely with the Executive, Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk & Compliance, and Product teams, you will ensure our supply base underpins delivery of the Society's strategic plan. You will also act as a trusted adviser on supplier strategy, market dynamics, and commercial decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and delivering a three-year procurement and supplier management strategy aligned to Society priorities.
- Leading and coaching a team of procurement professionals, setting clear objectives and building capability.
- Establishing and embedding a category management framework across key spend areas.
- Running end-to-end sourcing activity, including RFP/RFQ processes, negotiation, and recommendation.
