About the Role

Monks is expanding with key senior creative roles. We are looking for an Associate Creative Director who is a special category of conceptual thinker who can generate pitch-winning and award-winning creativity across any and every contemporary discipline of execution. You will be part of building and defining a new breed of creative agency with some of the most innovative digital, social, technology, and production expertise at your disposal. The EMEA team is growing, and it’s a great opportunity to help shape the direction and future of one of the world’s most innovative brands with career-defining work.

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll join a newly formed team that is guided by a local CD.
  • As part of our team, you’ll be collaborating with creatives, copywriters, designers, animators, and developers, as well as with PMs, operations managers, and a lot more talented Monks from all over the world.
  • Working across teams and time zones, you’ll be developing concepts across a variety of innovative products.
  • Pitching and presenting directly to our clients, you’ll be shaping and selling concepts for brand content, social media, and campaigns.
  • Our Lead CD can rely on you to run a pitch or project independently.
  • You’ll create not just what the client asked for but what their campaign needs, working with designers to produce beautifully designed decks that are in line with the project’s objectives and requirements.
  • Working on multiple projects at once, you go above and beyond each brief to push what’s possible on both a creative and technical level.
  • You have proven experience creating effective concepts for social (content) campaigns, using film, animation, and imagery.
  • Leading multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.
  • You can forecast production and concepting issues in order to ask the right questions to the client and team and give solutions to future problems.

About You

  • As showcased in your award-winning portfolio, you bring 7-8+ years' worth of high-level experience working for A-list brands, including tech.
  • Social first approach, but with ideas big enough to transcend paid media.
  • A start-up mentality - always spot opportunities and proactively pitch ideas.
  • An advocate and champion for AI tools, helping to get to great work more efficiently.
  • Proficient in English (presentation and communication skills).
  • Work flexibility from home & 2-3 days in our office in London, with occasional travel for shoots and productions.
  • An impressive conceptual outlook and ability to produce original ideas beyond the brief.
  • You are nice with positive vibes that can inspire coworkers to go the extra mile.
