Now letβs take you through what you will be doing. We will give you full training on every job and buddy you up with an experienced colleague to support you through your first few weeks:
- Serving customers by ensuring they have the right sizes, colours, and uniforms required for their child.
- Working on the cash till, by taking payment and packaging customer purchases.
- Tidying up the shop and stock room, including hoovering and dusting.
- Checking deliveries and booking stock into our stock control system.
- Unpacking stock from deliveries and restocking products in the shop.
- Answering the telephone with customer queries.
Social Environmental Responsibility (SER)
We take our sustainability responsibility extremely seriously, and it is only with the full cooperation of every one of us that will ensure we deliver on our sustainability objectives. Below are 5 things we want you to build into your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Switch off lights when the space is not being used.
- Switch off computers at the end of every day.
- If possible, avoid bringing in one-use plastic water bottles.
- Only fill up the kettle for the number of cups of hot drinks you are making.
- Dispose of waste responsibly by using our recycling processes.
Our location: We are located in Solihull with good transport links.
Your working days and hours: This is a 30 hour per week role. Actual days of work are to be agreed upon and will be across Monday to Saturday and will vary from week to week. During our off-peak season (October to June) we are closed on a Tuesday and Sunday. During our peak season (July to September), there is the option to uplift your hours and you will need to be available intermittently on Sundays.
When can you start: Immediately!
What about holidays? Your holiday entitlement is 28 days per year (including bank holidays, and pro-rated to hours worked).
