Shifts: 5pm - 7pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities

- Ensuring the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures
- Implementation of the EYFS with a good understanding of child development
- Supporting all nursery staff to help us deliver outstanding childcare
- Strong communication with both adults and children
- Reporting issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services
- Partnership working with parents and our partners to ensure our children thrive
- Positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors to maintain our happy nursery
- Creativity and an inspirational attitude
- Keeping the whole nursery environment clean and tidy, including hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day and the upkeep of laundry care
- Supporting the wider team when necessary (mealtimes for example)
- Ensuring all products used are stored safely and are suitable for use within a nursery
- Uphold health and safety requirements at all times
Essentials
- Experience of working within the cleaning industry with an emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene
- Experience of using cleaning products and equipment
- Understanding of Health & Safety requirements
- Good command of English, to ensure the well-being of the children
