Location: Monkey Puzzle Horsham

Salary: Starting from £13.50 per hour (dependent on qualification(s) and experience)

Shifts: 5pm - 7pm - Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Team working, we are a lovely family feel nursery and we strive for happiness for our people.
• Ensuring the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures.
• Implementation of the EYFS with a good understanding of child development.
• Supporting all nursery staff to help us deliver outstanding childcare.
• Strong communication with both adults and children.
• Reporting issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services.
• Partnership working with parents and our partners to ensure our children thrive.
• Positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors to maintain our happy nursery.
• Creativity and an inspirational attitude.
• Keeping the whole nursery environment clean and tidy, including hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day and the upkeep of laundry care.
• Supporting the wider team when necessary (mealtimes for example).
• Ensuring all products used are stored safely and are suitable for use within a nursery.
• Uphold health and safety requirements at all times.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essentials:

• Experience of working within the cleaning industry with an emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene.
• Experience of using cleaning products and equipment.
• Understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
• Good command of English, to ensure the well-being of the children.
