Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting your team to grow and perform at a high standard, whilst ensuring that all legislation and EYFS frameworks are adhered to.
  • Engaging your team to create inspirational, creative and effective learning environments in line with the needs of the children and the nursery.

  • Ensuring the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures.
  • Implementation of the EYFS with a good understanding of child development.
  • Reporting issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services.
  • Partnership working with parents and our partners to ensure our children thrive.
  • Positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors to maintain our happy nursery.
  • Clear and accurate record keeping and report writing.
  • Promoting a high standard of quality within the nursery including practice, environment and resources in line with our nursery expectations.

Essentials

  • Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Safeguarding Knowledge.
  • At least 2 year’s experience working as a nursery practitioner or similar in an Early Years setting.
