Field-Based (4 days per week) / Home-Based (1 day per week)

Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm / Friday - 9am - 4pm

£55k - £60k per annum (Depending on Experience)

Overview

We're looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our growing team and lead the delivery of new franchise locations and estate improvement projects across the UK. This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of projects from initial site feasibility through to construction, handover, and operational launch. Working closely with franchisees, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing As Project Manager, you'll oversee the full project lifecycle, including:

  • Conducting site feasibility assessments and producing project recommendations.
  • Managing design development with architects, planners, franchisees, and consultants.
  • Preparing tender documentation and coordinating procurement activities.
  • Appointing and managing contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
  • Monitoring project budgets, programmes, and commercial performance.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to ensure quality, compliance, and health & safety standards are maintained.
  • Managing project risks and resolving issues proactively.
  • Coordinating statutory approvals, Building Control requirements, and compliance documentation.
  • Leading project handovers, snagging processes, and post-project reviews.
  • Supporting refurbishment and improvement projects across the existing estate.

What We're Looking For

You'll be a confident project professional with experience delivering construction, fit-out, refurbishment, or property development projects.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven experience managing multiple construction or fit-out projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of project delivery, contractor management, and construction processes.
  • Experience managing budgets, programmes, and project reporting.
  • Understanding of Building Regulations, CDM Regulations, and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.

Desirable

  • Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, APM, PMP or similar).
  • Construction-related qualification (Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent).
  • Experience within franchising, retail, hospitality, childcare, leisure, or other multi-site environments.
