Monkey Park is a Community Enterprise (CIC) based in the heart of Brampton, Chesterfield. Our community hub is comprised of a community cafe, bicycle workshop, and co-working/meeting space. Monkey Park is a 'not for profit' business and our purpose is to improve the local community by bringing people together and supporting their efforts to change the local area. We employ and pay people for jobs they do at Monkey Park and strive to make sure we're enhancing the local economy. Any profit is used to continue improving and growing the enterprise for the needs of our community.
We are seeking a Finance Director to join our Board of Directors. Our board currently comprises five dedicated volunteers from the local area, each bringing diverse skills and perspectives to guide our efforts. As Finance Director, you will play a vital role in overseeing our financial strategy, budgeting, and ensuring Monkey Park's long‑term financial sustainability. The Board of Directors meets once a month on a weekday evening. This role is voluntary, offering a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a dynamic community‑focused organisation.
We are looking for someone with:
