Description
UTAS UK is an award-winning independent production company that specializes in Reality, Entertainment and Fact-Ent programming. Including shows such as Made In Chelsea (E4), The Real Housewives of London (Hayu) and The Real Housewives of Cheshire (ITV2).
Responsibilities
• Provide in-house Assistant Production Accountancy support for Non-Scripted & Entertainment TV productions.
• The candidate will report to the Senior Production Accountant and will liaise closely with the Production Finance Executive, Crew, Production and Corporate Finance.
• Help to maintain complete, accurate and timely records and accounts to reflect all business transactions using multiple Production Accounting systems including Eclipse, DPF, PMI, Excel, Banking systems and other related IT systems.
• Assisting productions so that they comply with Company Policies and Authorisations.
• Production Accounts Payable process, making payments through online banking systems.
• Issue and control P Card and Credit Card expenditure in accordance with company and banking Charts of Authority.
• Safeguard all physical and financial information and other company assets.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• An understanding of UK Tax laws, including UK VAT laws and the application of PAYE, National Insurance and Pension Auto Enrolment to freelance crew in the Film & Television Production industry.
• Proficiency in Production Accounting Software like Eclipse / DPF / PMI.
• Proficiency in Excel for day to day use for Production related expenditure (Expenses & Credit Card Recs).
