Part-time | Hybrid | UK (ideally within reach of Aberdeen)

Pay and earnings: £500 to £800 per month basic (full-time equivalent, applied pro rata). Uncapped commission on revenue growth above baseline. OTE: £1,300 to £5,600 per month, depending on performance and commercial impact.

The opportunity: Monkey Bar Store is a small, profitable UK business selling outdoor play and fitness systems to families and, increasingly, to schools. The products are established, customer feedback is strong, and there is consistent inbound demand. The next phase is to build a more robust pipeline, improve conversion, and introduce the systems required for sustained growth. This is a commercially accountable role in a founder-led business. The focus is clear: build pipeline, convert demand, and create the conditions for scalable revenue growth. You will work directly with the founder.

Mission and context: Monkey Bar Store is about to launch a national campaign focused on restoring everyday outdoor play as a normal and valued part of childhood. The campaign will engage families and schools, share practical examples, and build wider momentum. This is the founder’s mission. The opportunity is to translate that momentum into structured, commercial growth.

Schools growth opportunity: Schools represent a significant growth opportunity for the business. There is already a proven track record, with strong demand and high levels of customer satisfaction. The next phase is to build this opportunity in a more structured and consistent way.

The role: This is not a task-based role. It requires ownership, judgement, and pace. You will focus on the activities that directly drive revenue:

  • Converting inbound enquiries from families and schools
  • Building a proactive pipeline, particularly within the schools market
  • Improving follow-up discipline and CRM use
  • Supporting execution of the campaign
  • Strengthening the website enquiry and conversion journey using tools such as Google Ads, GA4, CRM, SEO tools and AI to inform decisions
  • Testing approaches, scaling what works, and stopping what does not

This role will suit someone who is:

  • Commercially minded and outcome-focused
  • Confident converting interest into sales and commission
  • Self-directed, with the ability to operate without close supervision
  • Comfortable working in a founder-led environment where structure is still evolving
  • Able to combine sales, pipeline development and practical growth systems
  • Motivated by both commercial performance and meaningful mission

This is intended to become a primary area of professional focus, not a light-touch consultancy or portfolio role. We are looking for someone who wants to help build the business and deliver on the mission for more active outdoor childhoods, not simply advise from the outside.

Working pattern: Options will be available for the right candidate, including full-time, part-time, hybrid, flexible arrangements. The role is primarily remote, with occasional meetings or site visits where necessary.

Candidate briefing pack: A candidate briefing pack is available on request. This provides further information on the business, campaign, commercial model and expectations.

How to apply: Please email Denise Calder at denise@acuityarcos.com with a short note outlining why this role interests you. We are interested in how you think and how you would approach building the next stage of this business. Please be thoughtful about how you use AI tools.
