As a Field based Business Development Manager, you will be sourcing and visiting in-person potential new business in the Bristol region, through a variety of business development channels. Selling Peninsula’s consultancy services, helping SMEs discover an easier and safer way to manage their staff. Since 1983 Peninsula has been providing HR and Health and Safety outsourcing to small businesses across the UK as well as the global leader in HR consultancy and software with over 100,000 clients worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Source and visit potential new business in the Bristol region, via multiple business development channels.
- Sell Peninsula’s consultancy services to SMEs, helping them manage staff more easily and safely.
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and trust with a business owner.
- Focused work ethic and motivation, ready and willing to leave no stone unturned.
- Structured sales approach, preparation and daily planning are key to consistency.
- Adaptability to learn a new industry, sector experience isn’t essential as we provide a first-class training programme.
- Professional approach to every new business interaction, whether by phone, in-person, or at networking events.
