Job Title: Senior China Ecommerce Manager (FTC)

Location: London / Hong Kong / Singapore / (Hybrid working available)

Reporting to: Director, Growth & Trading

We are seeking a Senior China Ecommerce Manager to help accelerate development and growth plans in China and to drive sustainable change across the jewellery industry.

The Senior China Ecommerce Manager will oversee China marketing and ecommerce strategy, manage two direct reports and external agencies, and define digital and ecommerce strategy to support growth in the China market.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Management of MV China Business: Oversee all China online strategy, execution, P&L and key relationships internally and externally. Plan and execute a comprehensive digital marketing and ecommerce strategy aligned with commercial goals. Oversee the China Ecommerce and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI to drive ecommerce conversions and revenue.
  • China Online Ecommerce/Marketing: Develop, manage, and implement the ecommerce marketing roadmap and strategy across online platforms in China (e.g. Tmall, JD, RED, etc) in alignment with commercial objectives. Oversee Trading Calendar and support on tactical opportunities to ensure sales targets are met. Oversee day-to-day ecommerce operations including TP management, paid media, regular sales reviews, promotion planning, store live streaming, CRM, etc. Maximise ecommerce performance through trading initiatives and day-to-day management. Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities and maximize market performance. Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to plan and execute campaigns (e.g. Lunar New Year, Singles Day) and key NPD launches in China. Optimize CRM/Loyalty systems to drive customer retention. Lead quarterly NPD buys and new product launches. Oversee monthly forecasts and stock replenishment; ensure inventory aligns with performance and targets.
  • What You’ll Bring: Native Chinese speaker with fluent English (written and spoken). Proven experience in China ecommerce & marketing management, preferably in fashion or retail. Up-to-date knowledge of China digital marketing strategies and tactics (PR, influencer, social, content, etc). Analytical mindset with knowledge of key ecommerce metrics to drive conversion and revenue. Skills in using analytics to drive decision-making. Expertise in driving consumer retention and cross-channel analytics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. Ability to work both operationally and strategically with a clear brand and results focus. Team player with collaborative attitude and willingness to learn. Passion for getting things done and helping others. Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Genuine interest in jewellery and fashion with ambition to grow Monica Vinader in China. Ability to work in ambiguous environments and ask the right questions.
