The Role

Influence is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and proactive Account Manager to support the business with global clients across Formula 1 and motorsport. The role involves partnership activations, hospitality and PR & communications. You will work both independently and within a supportive team, gaining exposure to all aspects of sports marketing and activation partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage our premium Formula 1 accounts – serving as the client’s day‑to‑day contact, sharing regular updates and ensuring the agency anticipates and meets their every need.
  • Lead key projects from inception to conclusion, delivering on time while managing multiple tasks and supporting junior team members.
  • Coordinate experiential hospitality and on‑event guest programmes, managing all elements including timelines, logistics, photography, schedules and reports.
  • Work closely with clients, becoming an extension of their in‑house team and collaborating with key stakeholders and suppliers in the motorsport ecosystem to create seamless activations.
  • Coordinate PR activity for key clients from strategy to pitching stories and creating high‑quality written content such as briefing documents, invitations, press materials and pitch presentations.
  • Support with finance and budgeting, including managing suppliers and expenses.
  • Identify new business opportunities for the agency within the sporting landscape.
  • Represent the agency and clients professionally at events worldwide including Formula 1 races.
  • Support Account Directors to deliver above and beyond for the clients.

Requirements

  • Passionate about sport – particularly Formula 1 and motorsport.
  • Experience working at Formula 1 and/or a leading global sporting series.
  • Ability to proactively and calmly handle challenges, resolving unforeseen obstacles quickly.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Conscientious and proactive with a good understanding of the sporting landscape.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel, with flexibility in working hours to accommodate varying schedules and client needs.
  • Valid driving licence and passport.
  • Strong written and verbal English skills; additional languages are beneficial.
