Based in London with offices in New York, Riyadh and Singapore, we offer strategic consultancy, commercial sales, partnership activation, PR & communications and content creation. The team has a wealth of experience and long-standing relationships in motorsport, sailing, pro-cycling, golf and tennis.
Influence is looking for a hardworking, proactive, diligent and enthusiastic PR Account Executive to support the agency with communication clients across the sporting world, predominantly in golf. The candidate must have a passion for sport and a desire to craft stories around its greatest events and athletes. You would be involved in all aspects of the relevant accounts, ensuring you build a breadth of understanding and grow within the agency.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day support across a number of our accounts
- Research and monitor key sporting stories, media and business
- Manage media lists, status and reporting documents
- Offer ideas and contribute to brainstorms
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and take meeting notes
- Support across high-quality written content, such as briefing documents, press materials and pitch presentations
- Support Account Managers and Account Directors to deliver above and beyond for the client
Requirements
- Passionate about sport
- Has an interest or experience working in PR and communications
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Well organised and able to meet deadlines
- Conscientious and proactive with a good understanding of the evolving media landscape
- A meticulous attention to detail, editing and proofing
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Able to operate well independently and in a team environment
- Eager to learn and committed to developing within the industry
- Willing to travel, which can mean working beyond normal office hours and weekends
- Valid driving license and passport
- Fluent English speaker, with foreign languages a bonus
We are in the office 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday, with Friday work from home).
