MongoDB's EMEA Marketing team is looking for a highly motivated UK Regional Marketing Manager to join the organization. This role collaborates closely with the sales, ecosystem and broader marketing teams to drive awareness of MongoDB, identify and nurture new users and champions, uncover new opportunities, accelerate deal cycles, and expand MongoDB's overall footprint in your accounts.
You'll own development and execution of the marketing plans for a subset of focus Enterprise accounts, ensuring we are contributing to the expansion of our accounts, increasing pipeline, and growth. Additionally, the successful candidate will support programs to drive awareness and measurable acquisition lift within the startup and founder ecosystem in the UK. This is a very strategic focus area for the company, as we expand the MongoDB AI/digital native focused startup program into new markets.
You will monitor results of field marketing programs that generate new engagement with target personas, advance existing opportunities, and work closely with other teams to develop and share best practices and industry trends across marketing. The role will report to the Marketing Lead, Northern Europe. We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in London for our hybrid working model.
Candidate Profile
- 3+ years experience in the technology sector with event/marketing experience
- Demonstration of a metrics-driven approach to success and can show Return on Investment by supervising results from funded/co-marketing activity against budget
- Fluent in English
- Highly results-driven with strong analytical ability
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Be resilient and adapt to the evolving business needs as we continue to scale
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, customer success and partner teams

Position Expectations
- Closely integrate with account executives, supporting the needs of the territory and executing marketing strategies for the UK & Ireland
- Understand the needs of the market and develop programs and events to drive top of funnel awareness and bottom funnel conversions
- Working in collaboration with the ABM marketing managers, build and execute a lead generation plan that delivers significant inbound, qualified leads and pipeline growth to hit targets
- Work with the strategic events team to coordinate local programs and enable the sales team to make the most of them
- Coordinate MongoDB sponsored trade shows, events and digital programs from end to end
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams when crafting integrated marketing campaigns, and ensure rigorous follow up of all marketing leads across the region
- Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities including global, regional, and local programs
- Drive awareness and measurable acquisition lift within the startup and founder ecosystem by supporting a cohesive community engagement strategy that spans founder networking events, AI builder hackathons, startup and VC sponsorships, ecosystem relationship development, and localized MongoDB for startups acquisition programs
- Integrate key stakeholders into regional events and secure local speaking opportunities to amplify visibility, while actively upskilling and engaging AI, digital-native, and startup communities.
- Leverage intent signals to deploy targeted campaigns that nurture technical champions and strategically influence the broader buying committee
- In collaboration with our global marketing team support the coordination of local content strategy by understanding our key audiences and industries
- Support the digital assets needed to drive specific activities (set-up of landing pages, webinars & events registration, email campaigns, follow up)
- Generate ideas for, and assist with, the creation of high-quality marketing content for the region (e.g. video, customer stories, blog articles)
- Analyze and provide insights on campaign performance and propose any improvements needed
Success Measures
The Regional Marketing Manager will be successful in this role when they can execute the following strategic tasks/responsibilities:
- In one month you'll have cultivated a relationship with your regional account executives, understand your top target accounts, grasped the MarTechStack to begin planning regional marketing opportunities & be able to analyze regional campaign performance
- In 3 months you'll have a clear understanding of your key objectives, have executed events and key programs, and have started to become a trusted partner to your marketing colleagues, sales leaders and manager
- In 6 months you'll have cultivated relationships and driven significant marketing initiatives.
