Our data analytics team uses machine learning, experimentation and analytics techniques on the Google Cloud Platform, GitHub, DBT and Tableau to understand user behaviour and optimise marketing and user experience.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Work pro‑actively with the analytics team to deliver high‑impact projects that empower people across the business to make data‑driven decisions by building self‑serve reports and recommendations.
- Deliver actionable insights across the MoneySuperMarket, MoneySavingExperts and QuidCo brands.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and communicate findings and recommendations to the relevant audience.
- Troubleshoot and optimise existing data sources.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to productionise valuable output from your projects into commonly used data tables.
- Support and be supported by other data analysts, data scientists and data engineers through knowledge sharing and upskilling.
- Learn and grow your capabilities with the latest technology, including statistics, data storytelling, web and mobile app technologies and machine learning.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Previous professional experience in data analytics.
- Experience with BI reporting tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Experience with app analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- A good working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with code development tools such as GitHub and DBT.
- Experience in managing stakeholder work requests.
- Comfortable manipulating and analysing complex, high‑volume, high‑dimensional data from varying sources and formats.
- Detail‑oriented and adept at resolving bugs in SQL code and data cross‑checks.
- Adept at data visualisation.
- Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise and actionable manner to senior management.
