Why do we need you? The Product Owner plays a pivotal role in continuously improving and optimising the end-to-end customer journey and team performance across our IVA or Debt Management Plan (DMP) services. Operating in a highly regulated and digital first environment, they serve as the voice of the customer and champion the delivery of value through data-driven, customer-first product and process enhancements.
Working collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams, the Product Owner defines the vision, goals, and priorities for their respective products. They translate strategy into actionable delivery plans, ensuring the performance of digital and physical customer touchpoints is continually optimised and compliant with regulatory standards.

What do we need you to do? Individual Responsibilities:
- Own and champion the customer journey from onboarding through to resolution and plan completion, ensuring a seamless, compliant, and supportive experience.
- Translate strategic goals into prioritised backlogs and development roadmaps, defining and communicating product goals, KPIs, and success metrics.
- Lead and facilitate agile teams responsible for iterative delivery and improvement of customer-facing processes and platforms.
- Monitor performance of customer journey touchpoints (conversion, dropout, satisfaction, complaints), using MI and customer insight to drive continuous improvement.
- Act as the key decision-maker for the product backlog, ensuring changes are prioritised to deliver the most value to customers and the business.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including FCA requirements and Consumer Duty principles, is embedded in all product features and operational enhancements.
- Conduct regular customer outcomes testing to ensure that products and services are meeting customers' needs, producing and overseeing action plans where shortfalls are identified.
Shared Responsibilities:
- Partner with key stakeholders including Executive Committee colleagues to align product objectives with operational strategy and KPIs.
- Collaborate with the Head of Product Development to ensure change roadmaps align with broader innovation goals and business priorities.
- Work closely with Compliance, Marketing, People, and Finance as part of the “business enablement” layer to deliver scalable and compliant outcomes.
- Support the effective delivery of change initiatives through cross-functional squad participation, providing clear scope, requirements, and impact assessment.
- Input into training, quality assurance, and internal communications to ensure successful adoption of product improvements.
