Why we need you? The UX/UI Designer is responsible for designing intuitive, accessible, and visually consistent experiences across all customer-facing products and digital journeys at MoneyPlus. This role blends user experience, interaction design, and interface design to create products that are effective, easy to use, and aligned with brand and accessibility standards. You will work across the full design lifecycle - from discovery and research through to high-fidelity UI and implementation. Working closely with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders, the UX/UI Designer champions user-centred design, drives design quality and consistency, and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement across the Product Engineering team.

What skills and experience do we need you to have?
- Strong experience in UX design, interaction design, and user research
- Solid understanding of user-centred design principles and design thinking methodologies
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs (e.g. Figma)
- Familiarity with designing for responsive web and mobile applications
- Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG) and inclusive design practices
- Ability to interpret data and user insights to inform design decisions
- Strong collaboration skills, working closely with engineers and product teams
- Clear and confident communication, particularly when explaining design rationale
- Attention to detail with a focus on creating simple, effective user experiences
- Continuous improvement mindset, always looking to enhance design quality and processes
- Self-motivated and accountable, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
Core Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, user-centred experiences across web and mobile applications
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate solutions effectively
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions
- Translate business and product requirements into clear, engaging user journeys
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and implemented effectively
- Ensure consistency through design systems, patterns, and reusable components
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design across all products
- Iterate designs based on user feedback, data, and performance insights
- Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes, tools, and standards
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to represent user experience
- Monitor and improve key UX metrics such as task success, engagement, and customer satisfaction
