Marketing Communications Manager – Fixed maternity cover

Fast-forward two decades and what started as a single, dedicated PA (who’s still with us today) looking after calls for a handful of local clients, is now a 1000-strong team working across continents from our state-of-the-art UK headquarters in Wrexham, and our US office in Atlanta.
What we do: Comms plays a vital role in delivering accurate and consistent content across all our marketing channels. We’re a busy team whose number one priority is keeping us looking sharp and on brand – wherever we appear.
The role: Reporting to our Group Head of Brand & Communications, you will support the work carried out by our Senior Marketing Executive and Marketing Assistant, managing our day-to-day comms activity both in the UK and US, whilst retaining your focus on large business marketing efforts.
Key responsibilities:
- Primary contact for marketing, PAs, and other departments; owning and delegating tasks while specialising in enterprise collateral to support Business Development and senior stakeholders
- Right-hand to Group Head of Brand & Comms, co-managing urgent campaigns, deadlines, and multiplatform workflows (Trello, MS Teams)
- Writing website copy aligned with brand voice, user experience, and product clarity
- Supporting development and delivery of social and brand campaigns, contributing creative ideas and execution to drive engagement and consistency
- Assisting Comms team in project delivery, ensuring priorities, resources, and direction are clear
- Proofing copy for accuracy, grammar, and brand alignment
- Overseeing SharePoint file management, tracking updates and reviews
- Managing projects linked to large business and acquisitions, from conception to implementation with senior stakeholders
- Leading proposals and tender responses with sector heads, ensuring compliance, differentiation, and stakeholder communication through completion
- Coordinating with Group Head of Brand & Comms to provide consistent support for US team
- Partnering with Senior Marketing Executive to scope and coordinate projects, streamlining workflows
- Supporting and mentoring Marketing Assistant to enable professional growth
The person:
