Requirements Mission for the role: The Marketing Director at Moneyhub is the architect of our "Demand Generation Engine." Your primary mandate is to clearly explain Moneyhub’s market-leading products to our Enterprise target market. Specifically our AI-driven Categorisation & Enrichment (C&E), Collections and Lending Affordability and Smart Cash Sweeping hero propositions across our core ICPs (Banking, Pensions and Wealth).
You will bridge the gap between our high-velocity product development and the front line sales. You are responsible for ensuring that for every "bet" the product team places, there is a world-class GTM marketing campaign ready to turn that innovation into a qualified pipeline. You will lead a lean team of three, supplemented by specialist agencies, to deliver an additional £2.2m+ of qualified pipeline each month.
What we’re looking for:
- Top of Funnel Activity: Delivery against a solid activity plan - executed on time and on budget.
- Pipeline Growth: Achievement of the £2.2m+ monthly pipeline generation target.
- MQL to SQL Velocity: Reduction in the time taken for a lead to move through the funnel.
- Brand Resonance: Measurable increase in "Share of Voice".
- GTM Efficiency: Successful launch of AI-first features with integrated marketing support.
- An Excellent Communicator: Able to work with our SMEs to convey powerful, simple examples of where Moneyhub delivers business value.
- A Planner: You work collaboratively across the business (Product, PreSales and Sales) to define our marketing requirements and build a plan, with clear success criteria, that you execute, track, analyse and refine.
- A B2B Fintech Specialist: You’ve done this before. You know how to market enterprise solutions to multiple stakeholders in the financial services industry.
- ABM Practitioner: The majority of our revenues come from large financial services companies where our technology is used across their enterprise; from credit cards, to loans to savings. Experience in targeting specific personas with relevant, actionable content is essential.
- Adaptable: You’ve been part of the transition from SEO to Answer Engine Optimisation and understand what it takes to adapt in an AI answer driven world.
- Data-Obsessed: You live in HubSpot. You iterate, you test, and you optimise based on ROI.
- A Player-Manager: You can lead a team of specialists and agencies, but you’re just as happy getting "hands-on" with a GTM plan or reviewing the latest thought leadership piece.
- Ambitious: You want the CMO seat. You want to see your strategy result in international expansion and market dominance.
- Experienced: You have experience of fintech scaling from £10m to £20m in a B2B enterprise level market.
The first 9 Months Success looks like:
- First 3 Months - Embed, Align, Focus: Completed a full handover and review of marketing performance, process, funnel metrics, agency spend, and tech stack effectiveness, establishing clear baseline KPIs. Built strong credibility and alignment with CPO, CRO, CEO, Product, Sales, and PreSales around priorities, ICPs, and commercial goals based on team and individual OKRs. Taken ownership of the 12-month demand generation and GTM plan aligned to revenue targets, product roadmap, and budget. Implemented sprint-based planning and delivered at least one measurable quick-win campaign or messaging improvement.
- By 6 Months - Effective Execution: Demand generation engine operating with consistent execution across campaigns, content, ABM, and product launches. Marketing-sourced pipeline making a predictable contribution toward the £2.2m+ monthly target, with improved MQL quality and funnel velocity. Clear messaging architecture and refreshed sales enablement collateral live across core propositions and target sectors. Internal team and agency partners operating with clear accountability, KPIs, and performance management.
- By 9 Months - Scale & Create Competitive Advantage: Marketing consistently delivering or exceeding pipeline contribution targets with clear ROI visibility. Measurable improvements in pipeline velocity, conversion rates, and overall GTM efficiency. Moneyhub building stronger market visibility and category leadership across Banking, Pensions, and Wealth.
