General Summary

This position reports to the Financial Controller or their designee; it is located in Banbury, UK. It plays a significant part in financial reporting and tax compliance for the Haas F1 Team group entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork and effective communication to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
• Timely production of management reporting including but not limited to fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, payroll, etc.
• Balance sheet reconciliations with accurate supporting documentation.
• Calculation and processing of intercompany recharges.
• Quarterly reconciliations between Haas Formula Italia statutory ledgers and management reporting.
• Preparation of detailed audit schedules for annual statutory audits.
• Act as the primary point of contact and take responsibility for completing or overseeing tax‑related tasks alongside the Financial Accountant in the following areas:

• UK VAT returns
• Italian tax compliance
• Driver withholding tax returns
• R&D tax credit claims
• Annual review of Transfer Pricing Policy
• Liaising with AP team on Tax payments
• Serving as the main contact for tax authorities

Education And Work Experience

• ACCA/ACA/CTA qualification or equivalent required with at least 1 year of post‑qualified work experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Tax experience preferred, including dealing with tax authorities and professional advisors.

• Solid computer knowledge; preferred experience in Microsoft Office products and ERP systems.

Work Environment Physical Demands

• Ability to work and prioritize within a high‑pressure, time‑sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential.
• The role may require occasional domestic and international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours, including weekends.
• This position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting, and manual dexterity.
• Fast‑paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands.
• Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7‑post, and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids.
