MoneyGram Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points‑scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. General Summary
This position reports to the Financial Controller or their designee; it is located in Banbury, UK. It plays a significant part in financial reporting and tax compliance for the Haas F1 Team group entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote teamwork and effective communication to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
- Timely production of management reporting including but not limited to fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, payroll, etc.
- Balance sheet reconciliations with accurate supporting documentation.
- Calculation and processing of intercompany recharges.
- Quarterly reconciliations between Haas Formula Italia statutory ledgers and management reporting.
- Preparation of detailed audit schedules for annual statutory audits.
- Act as the primary point of contact and take responsibility for completing or overseeing tax‑related tasks alongside the Financial Accountant in the following areas:
- UK VAT returns
- Italian tax compliance
- Driver withholding tax returns
- R&D tax credit claims
- Annual review of Transfer Pricing Policy
- Liaising with AP team on Tax payments
- Serving as the main contact for tax authorities
Education And Work Experience
- ACCA/ACA/CTA qualification or equivalent required with at least 1 year of post‑qualified work experience.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Tax experience preferred, including dealing with tax authorities and professional advisors.
