About the role
We are looking for a candidate who will work within the Advisory team, helping to manage the administrative activities of the team. This will include document creation, the handling of certain processes on behalf of clients and helping manage activities with the pension administrator. This role will involve some client interaction and will work closely with the Wealth Managers, whilst also working closely with other stakeholders, such as the operations team and the pension administrator. The aim will be to help make all client processes as smooth as possible for clients while helping the Wealth Managers to have more time to engage with their clients. This role is a fixed-term position until the end of 2026 and requires working in our office two days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client pension processes, such as transfers and drawdowns, working with the pension administrator and the client to ensure the processes are as smooth as possible.
- Support with ad-hoc document generation and other tasks where clients need support.
- Contact ceding providers, where needed, for Pension or ISA transfers to ensure that transfers are handled correctly and efficiently.
- Help the client services team with some client interactions when volumes are very high.
- Reach out to clients where requests come from the operations or compliance team for further information - whether to check legitimacy of payments or to just some parts of client applications.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure that client backoffice processes are properly managed and client experience is positive.
- Be the gatekeeper managing the variety of touch points with the pension administrator - to ensure that communication is properly orchestrated.
Must have

- Experience working in administrative, client facing or receptionist roles.

- Some knowledge of financial products, such as pensions and ISAs.
