The Role
We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to join our IT team to provide leadership to the Technical Support team. The role will manage and support the technical Infrastructure alongside our Infrastructure Manager, ensuring adherence to security standards whilst enabling the team to provide timely and effective support to internal and external customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring appropriate cyber security systems are in place to protect Moneyfacts and keep up to date with best practice. They will also provide infrastructure services vision, enable innovation and leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with Moneyfacts’ requirements and expectations.
Skills and Experience
- Essential:
- 5 years of recent, relevant experience.
- Previous experience of managing suppliers.
- Expertise in change planning.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of working with the relevant technologies.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- A passion for technology and a desire to keep up with the latest developments.
- Ability to perform out of hours maintenance as required.
- Desirable:
- Experience of being a Team Leader.
- Formal certification in a relevant area.
- Experience of ISO/IEC 27001.
Salary
Competitive salary, commensurate with skills and experience.
Hours
Full time 37.5 hrs per week Monday-Friday.
