We have a unique opportunity for a Lead Generation Sales Executive to join our team based in our Norwich office. This role is responsible for hunting for new business opportunities to deliver revenue growth, supporting the sales activities of our sales teams.
The successful candidate will be tasked with generating and following up on new business opportunities, through identifying gaps in business across our main sales areas β data provision, Star Ratings, magazine advertising and digital advertising. They will be responsible for lead generation for customers across banks, building societies and other financial services companies, targeting a wide range of disciplines including Product, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Research.
About You: We are looking for an experienced and high-performing B2B Sales Executive who is motivated by the hunt for new business through lead generation. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of new business development or B2B sales in the financial services arena, as well as prior experience in digital/software sales. They will have the ability to adapt messaging according to the target audience. They will be self-motivated with a tenacious approach to identify new opportunities and get through to key decision makers. Previous experience of telemarketing or similar work would be advantageous, along with a knowledge of personal finance products ideally from a banking or building society background. We are looking for someone with a target driven mindset with the confidence and hunger to generate sales independently.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience of new business development or B2B sales in the financial services arena
- Previous experience in digital/software sales
- Commercial understanding of how affiliate and digital advertising deals work
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent time management skills, with ability to prioritise own workload
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Strong organisational skills

Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience of telemarketing or similar work
- Experience using CMS tools
