Each of the award ceremonies attracts the cream of the industry to unrivalled events with the finest food, celebrity hosts, and parties that are the envy of the industry.
We are looking to recruit an Events Manager with prior experience of working across all parts of delivering successful revenue generating B2B events. They will work with our Events team to deliver best in class events to clients across the financial services and banking industry. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivery of key Moneyfacts events including large scale awards ceremonies and smaller client events. Working alongside the rest of the events team to ensure Moneyfacts events are best in class, whilst remaining independent and trustworthy.
- Full event budget management
- Ownership and monitoring of the full event marketing plan
- Oversee the smooth running of each event
- Management of post-event communication
- Attending relevant events industry conferences
- Attendance at the awards is a requirement of the role as well as visits to and from London and will therefore require overnight stays and out of hours work.
Prefer 3+ years prior experience in a revenue generating Events role, with involvement across all parts of the event. Previous experience of using social media tools across multiple channels to support commercial marketing objectives. Demonstrable skills in using Microsoft Excel for event planning purposes. Ability to prioritise a busy workload, maximising use of time in between events. Project management skills, ideally with experience of using project management tools. Prior experience of working for an in-house Events team. Familiarity of third-party email systems would be beneficial, specifically Dotdigital. Familiar with using content management systems, ideally Umbraco. Experience in building mass participation surveys, analysing results and presenting them in a suitable format. Knowledge of event specific health and safety requirements.
Full time 35 hours per week Monday-Friday. Fully office based, no remote/hybrid. Some UK travel and overnight stays.
£30,000-£40,000 per annum depending on skills and experience. 25 days holiday plus public holidays + up to 3 days Long Service entitlement. Birthday day off. Enhanced Workplace Pension.
