THE ROLE
Moneyfactscompare.co.uk has multiple opportunities to sell advertising space to new and existing clients. Advertisers provide us with links to their products to be included in our tables and articles. We then present these to our 3 million unique consumer visitors every year.
Due to an internal department movement, Moneyfactscompare.co.uk is looking to recruit a talented Lead Generation Sales Executive to hunt for new business opportunities across the website, supporting the activities of our Business Development team.
Based in our Norwich Head Office, the Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying gaps in business for advertising and PPC across the site, and will be tasked with reaching out to prospective clients to fill these gaps, generating warm leads and setting up appointments for the Business Development team.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and high-performing B2B Sales Executive who is motivated by the hunt for new business through lead generation .
The ideal candidate should be digitally savvy and will be comfortable talking with marketing directors to marketing executives, digital advertising teams, affiliate managers, media planners at agencies. They will be self‑motivated with a tenacious approach to identify new advertising opportunities and get through to key decision makers. We are looking for someone with a target‑driven mindset with the confidence and hunger to generate sales independently.
This role is part of a dynamic and fun organisation that has been around for over 35 years.
Essential Skills And Experience
Demonstrable sales experience in digital sales.
Familiar with using CRM systems.
Commercial understanding of how affiliate and digital advertising deals work.
Previous experience developing your own sales plans.
Understanding of sales best practice and techniques to open and close conversations.
Knowledge of financial services market.
Appreciation of affiliate marketing.
Understanding and experience using Google Analytics.
Self‑motivated to find new opportunities for revenue.
Comfortable negotiator to get deals over the line.
Excellent written, presentation and communications skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers at all levels
A flexible individual and a willing attitude to get the job done.
Strong organisational skills Desirable Skills & Experience:
Experience using CMS tools
Previous experience of telemarketing or similar work
Salary
Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, plus targeted sales bonus.
Hours
Full time 35 hours per week Monday-Friday
Fully office based with some UK travel on occasion
