- Apply consistent business analysis standards, ensuring requirements, assumptions, baselines and benefits are clearly documented.
- Prepare structured analysis, options and recommendations to support leadership decisions and governance forums.
- Work with stakeholders and third parties to define business processes, requirements, operating-model impacts and delivery scope.
- Support business users and sponsors in assessing scope, benefits, risks, capacity impacts and delivery trade-offs.
- Act as the link between delivery teams, vendors, Design Authority and business stakeholders to ensure joined-up decisions.
- Manage and prioritise backlogs, user stories, defects and change requests, recommending practical actions where issues arise.
- Identify, log and help resolve risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, escalating items that require leadership decision.
- Assess change requests and their impact on scope, cost, timeline, controls, vendors, operations and benefits.
- Draft, review and maintain business requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting analysis.
- Ensure requirements are agreed with business sponsors and remain traceable to outcomes, controls and benefits.
- Follow the agreed sign-off and governance process, capturing decisions, assumptions, risks and exceptions.
- Create and maintain project collateral, including process maps, requirement catalogues, decision logs and benefit assumptions.
- Deliver agreed analysis, controls, requirements and reporting outputs to Transformation Office standards and timelines.
- Use structured questioning and evidence gathering to clarify ambiguity, test assumptions and identify practical options.
- Pre-empt risks and stakeholder concerns by presenting balanced recommendations, impacts and mitigation options.
- Maintain accurate outputs from workshops, meetings and governance forums, including decisions, actions, assumptions and next steps.
- Compile clear project, workstream and executive reporting covering progress, risks, issues, decisions, benefits and delivery confidence.
