Moneycorp is looking for a new hire to join the Procurement team, supporting the management of third‑party vendors across the group. This will include supporting the assessment of business requirements to buy the right product at the right price at the right time. The Procurement analyst will have a desire to learn and be involved across all aspects of Procurement and Third‑Party vendor management and play a key role in supporting strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost‑optimisation initiatives within a fast‑paced FinTech environment. The role requires strong analytical capability. The successful candidate will work cross‑functionally to ensure procurement activities are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
Located in London, the candidate will have the opportunity to develop the following skills: data and decision analytics, relationship management, contract performance, performance improvement programmes, and an interest in establishing processes and developing commercial awareness to challenge stakeholders and enable decision making.
Key Responsibilities- Data Analytics and Insight
- Gather, interpret and evaluate information and data, using a range of business tools to influence stakeholders with evidence‑based decisions.
- Support end‑to‑end procurement processes including RFP/RFI development, bid evaluation, vendor selection and contracting.
- Analyze spend data to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
- Maintain procurement records, dashboards and compliance documentation.
- Supplier and Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain constructive stakeholder relationships, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactively seek and build continuous and meaningful engagement with suppliers to improve value delivered from the supply chain.
- Build strong internal relationships with Legal, IT, InfoSec, Finance and Product teams to support sourcing needs.
- Performance
- Prioritize and deliver at pace – work inclusively, collaboratively, respond to changing demands and manage competing priorities to meet challenging deadlines.
- Support ongoing management of contract renewals, expirations and amendments.
- Assist in negotiating terms related to pricing, service levels, data security and regulatory obligations.
- Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain or vendor management – ideally in FinTech, financial services or technology.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Working knowledge of technology procurement (SaaS, cloud, APIs, infrastructure).
- Understanding of vendor risk, regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks in financial services.
- Good communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Experience with procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, Workday, Jaggaer) desirable but not mandatory.
- Skills and Competencies
- Analyze spend data and generate actionable insights.
- Examples of identifying cost‑savings, efficiencies or demand patterns.
- Contract lifecycle awareness (renewals, amendments, expiries, SLAs).
- Understanding of tech commercial models (subscription, consumption‑based, licensing).
- Evaluate commercial proposals.
- Negotiation skills (even at junior/supporting level).
- Know when to elevate issues.
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain or related field.
- CIPS qualification (or working toward it).
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn with a passion for self‑improvement and growth.
- Proven ability to work both within teams and independently with a team‑oriented, flexible attitude, adhering to high ethical standards.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Approachable and personable to develop strong working relationships with peers.
- Highly motivated, responsible, reliable and organised, using own initiative to manage time and workload.
Please note this is a full‑time, permanent position. The role is expected to be office‑based in London, however we have a flexible working policy which enables you to work up to 2 days from home.
