Role Purpose
As a Junior Front-End Web Developer, you will support the ongoing development, optimisation, and performance of moneycorp.com website, delivering high-quality, responsive, and user-focused web experiences. You will work closely with Design, Marketing, and RevOps teams to deliver high-quality, responsive, and customer-centric web experiences that support acquisition, engagement, and conversion goals. This is a great opportunity for an early-career front-end developer looking to deepen their skills in CMS platforms, UX/UI, CRO, SEO/AEO, and landing page optimisation within a commercial environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Website & CMS Management
- Manage and update website content, templates, components, and landing pages using the CMS (Contentful).
- Publish and QA content to support campaigns, product launches, and ongoing site improvements.
- Maintain consistency in layouts, components, and styling across the site.
- Front-End Development & Responsive Design
- Build and maintain front-end components using HTML, CSS / SCSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Translate Figma designs into accurate, accessible, and high-quality web pages.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, and basic web performance best practices are met.
- UX/UI Implementation & CRO Support
- Implement UX/UI enhancements that improve usability, clarity, and conversion.
- Support CRO initiatives including A/B testing and landing page optimisation.
- Work with CRO and Marketing teams to reduce friction and improve form completion and lead conversion.
- Use behaviour and heatmap insights (e.g. Crazy Egg) to inform UX improvements.
- SEO / AEO & On-Page Optimisation
- Apply SEO/AEO best practices including metadata updates, internal linking improvements, structured content and schema support, basic redirect management.
- Ensure pages are optimised for semantic structure, accessibility, and search visibility.
- Partner with SEO and Content teams to support organic performance improvements through front-end and CMS changes.
- Analytics, Tagging & Martech Support
- Support implementation and QA of analytics and tracking tools (GA4, GTM, HubSpot forms).
- Assist with tagging, cookies, consent management, and basic event tracking validation.
- Support and maintain website performance reporting, monitoring key metrics including traffic, engagement, and conversion performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Marketing, RevOps and Sales teams to support campaigns, messaging, and landing page effectiveness.
- Assist with content launches by ensuring pages function correctly and meet quality standards.
- Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
- Test and QA pages across devices, browsers, and breakpoints.
- Fix front-end bugs, styling issues, and content inconsistencies.
- Follow front-end best practices for maintainability, accessibility, and performance.
- Competitor & Market Awareness
- Monitor competitor websites for UX, layout, CRO patterns, and design trends.
- Share ideas and inspiration for improving user experience and conversion performance.
- Software Development Lifecycle Process
- Participate in all SDLC phases including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and post release support.
- Deliver quality and release excellence by following coding standards, code review, tests and support CI/CD pipeline for smooth and reliable deployments.
- Ensure change management process is followed for releases.
What We’re Looking For
- Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years’ experience in a front-end or web development role.
- Hands-on experience with CMS-driven websites, preferably headless CMS platforms (e.g. Contentful).
- Understanding of front-end UX/UI principles, CRO fundamentals, and responsive design.
- Basic understanding of SEO / AEO and on-page optimisation techniques.
- Solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of React and component-based development.
- Experience delivering responsive, cross-browser compatible web pages.
- Experience translating designs (e.g. Figma) into production-ready code.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to take responsibility for website delivery and see tasks through to completion.
- Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience with analytics and tracking tools (Google Analytics, GTM, HubSpot).
- Familiarity with Google Ads and performance marketing concepts.
- Awareness of accessibility and performance optimisation best practices.
- Interest in AI tools, automation, and emerging web technologies.
- Education / Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Front-End Development, Web Design, UX/UI, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Languages
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
