Role Purpose: This role offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into how a growing UK payments business operates, with exposure to strategy, performance, execution, and decision-making. You will work directly with the UK CEO to help drive the UK business plan — combining analysis, insight, and execution across commercial, operational, and strategic priorities. The role provides broad exposure across sales, products, operations, and regulation, enabling you to develop a strong understanding of how different teams contribute to business success. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working on a variety of different opportunities and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- UK CEO Office – insight, structure, delivery
- Act as an extension of the UK CEO office across the organisation
- Turn ambiguity into structure: distil complex topics into clear, decision-ready outputs
- Build materials for UK ExCo, Group forums, and Board discussions
- Track and support execution of key UK business priorities
- Strategy & commercial insight support
- Analyse UK market dynamics, competitors, and product opportunities
- Support development of UK strategy across payments, FX, and platform growth
- Review and evaluate assumptions to identify opportunities for improvement
- Translate insight into clear, actionable recommendations
- Business performance & analytics - Working with RevOps team:
- Monitor UK business performance (revenue, EBITDA, KPIs)
- Build reporting that informs decisions — not just dashboards
- Understand the core drivers of growth and profitability
- Identify risks, gaps, and performance opportunities
- Operational exposure (end-to-end)
- Develop a hands-on understanding of how the UK business operates:
- Sales and client acquisition
- Payments and operational delivery
- Client lifecycle and servicing
- Product rollout and execution
- Work cross-functionally to improve processes and outcomes
- Support delivery of key strategic and commercial initiatives and cost
- Problem solving & delivery
- Work on real business challenges with practical impact
- Take responsibility for delivering workstreams end-to-end (with support and oversight)
- Recommend and implement process improvements
- Help ensure key initiatives land on time and with impact
- Governance, control & discipline
- Build awareness of UK regulatory and compliance frameworks (FCA environment)
- Work with Compliance, Risk, and Finance to understand control environments
- Ensure initiatives are commercially sound and operationally robust
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- 1–2 years of post-graduate experience (or equivalent)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure and interpret complex information
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to create clear, compelling presentations and communicate ideas effectively
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good attention to detail while maintaining awareness of the bigger picture
- Ability to build effective working relationships across teams
- Proactive approach with a sense of ownership and accountability
Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Familiarity with financial services, payments, or FX markets
- Experience supporting senior stakeholders or leadership teams
- Knowledge of performance reporting and working with KPIs
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot or similar tools
Education / Qualifications:
- Graduate or post-graduate (MBA or strong academic background)
- Degree in business, economics, finance, STEM, or similar
Languages: English (fluent)
