Role Purpose:
Role Responsibilities:
- Translate Moneycorp’s rebrand into a Canva-based design system (Brand Kit, component library, typographic scale, colour tokens, iconography, grids/spacing, imagery style).
- Build templated assets for marketing, sales & wider organisation (PowerPoint masters, Word templates, letterheads, business cards, brochures, RTB decks) with clear usage rules for multi‑market consistency.
- Create modular, reusable layouts that scale across products, regions, and languages; embed accessibility and localisation from the outset.
- Maintain a concise brand playbook (do/don’ts, tone cues, asset specs) and run enablement sessions with marketing and sales teams – locally and internationally.
Website Design & Optimisation
- Partner with the agency to define and enforce design consistency for the new website (UI components, page templates, imagery, motion, accessibility).
- Provide ongoing support to marketing and the wider organisation: implement new pages, targeted landing pages, refine layouts/UX, and keep the site aligned to the brand system.
- Establish design QA (WCAG accessibility, responsive behaviour, performance considerations) and streamline handoffs with web/digital, compliance and content teams.
- Embed SEO-aware design fundamentals (readable structures, scannable layouts, metadata patterns) into templates.
Creative Asset Development
- Design artwork for marketing & sales collateral with the copywriter, marketing and sales teams (RTB decks, presentations, one‑pagers, case studies, event materials).
- Produce advertising material and finished artwork for print, magazines, and billboards/OOH—including press‑ready files (bleed, crop marks, CMYK/Pantone/ICC profiles), proofing, pre‑press and vendor specifications.
- Email campaigns (HubSpot): build responsive modules/blocks (headers/footers, CTAs) ensuring brand consistency, accessibility, and localisation.
- Develop campaign creative for Google, Meta, LinkedIn (static, carousel, video/motion) with platform‑specific specs and A/B variants; coordinate execution with digital marketing
Asset Governance & Compliance
- Implement asset governance: version control, naming conventions, taxonomy/metadata, lifecycle management (creation, approval, distribution, archival).
- Maintain a single source of truth (e.g., Canva Brand Kit + DAM) with permissioning, expiry tracking for regulated/time‑bound materials, and regional variants.
- Publish usage guidance: template instructions, localisation rules, disclaimer/risk‑warning placement, and brand QA checklists; define RACI for creation, review and sign‑off.
- Ensure adherence to compliance/financial promotions requirements and Consumer Duty outcomes (fair, clear, not misleading); embed approval gates, capture audit trails (version histories, sign‑off evidence), and manage jurisdictional nuances across web, ads, print and email.
- Measurement (focused): monitor first‑time compliance pass rate, rework reduction, template adoption and asset freshness/expiry; close gaps by introducing missing templates or retiring deprecated assets
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in brand/visual design, design systems, or marketing design roles.
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Proven experience translating brand elements into a scalable design system and templates used across markets and teams (e.g., Canva Brand Kit or equivalent).
- Experience in website/UI design with agency collaboration; accessibility (WCAG), and SEO best practice.
- Experience producing and managing short‑ and long‑form collateral across digital and offline channels, including finished artwork for print, magazines, and OOH/billboards (pre‑press and vendor spec compliance).
- Email campaigns: designing responsive modules/blocks in HubSpot and collaborating with digital teams on paid channels (Google, Meta, LinkedIn).
- Experience working with agencies and cross‑functional teams (marketing, copywriting, sales) across local and international markets.
- Preferable, but not mandatory – An understanding of marketing governance in regulated industries, preferably UK financial services (FCA financial promotions, Consumer Duty, approvals and audit trails).
- Strong systems thinking: modular components, reusable templates, scalable design across products, regions, and channels.
- Excellent communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail (layout, disclaimers) with a mindset of continuous improvement.
- Innovative and creative thinker with a logical, methodical approach to problem‑solving; balances speed, brand consistency and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and vendors, prioritise effectively, and deliver reliably in a fast‑paced environment.
- Stakeholder management: credible, influential, and collaborative with Compliance/Legal and commercial teams.
- Proficiency in Canva (Brand Kit, components, shared libraries) and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Familiarity with email design, CMS templating, basic SEO tools, and social platform creative specs.
- Competence with production standards (CMYK/Pantone/ICC, bleed/crop marks) and asset governance (version control, naming conventions, taxonomy, DAM usage).
- Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach and a bias for action.
- Energetic, self‑motivated; able to lead projects independently and collaboratively.
- Resilient and adaptable; thrives under pressure and manages competing priorities.
- Commercially minded; understands how design drives business outcomes and compliant customer communications.
