Role Purpose: As a Mid Weight Front-end Web Developer, you will support the ongoing development, optimisation, and technical enhancement of the Moneycorp.com website and its digital experience ecosystem. This role is weighted towards front-end development and is responsible for building, maintaining and improving website content and systems, integrating marketing and sales technologies, and enabling a high‑performing, customer‑centric website that supports acquisition, engagement, and conversion.

You will build and maintain responsive pages, reusable components and content building blocks using HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js and Contentful. You will partner closely with Design, Marketing, Sales and RevOps teams to ensure the site remains scalable, performant, compliant, and commercially effective. While this is primarily a front-end role, you will need practical back‑end knowledge of APIs, integrations, data structures and data flows. The role is ideal for a curious developer who is hungry to learn and ready to take greater ownership, expand technical responsibility, and support our roadmap of continuous website improvement and experimentation.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Front‑end Development, CMS & Technical Implementation: Manage and update website pages, templates, reusable components and content building blocks on Moneycorp.com using Contentful. Build, test and deploy front‑end features using HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, React and Next.js, following responsive design best practice. Support back‑end development tasks including API integrations, data handling, and server‑side logic. Ensure cross‑browser compatibility, accessibility compliance, and optimisation for speed, Core Web Vitals and performance.
  • Platform Integrations & Martech Enablement: Manage integrations across forms, HubSpot, CRM systems, analytics, tracking tools and other marketing platforms. Implement and maintain schema, tagging, cookies and tracking scripts through Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to support reliable analytics and attribution. Collaborate with RevOps to ensure high‑quality data flows and accurate measurement across the funnel.
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) & Experimentation: Contribute to the CRO program including A/B test setup, implementation, monitoring, experimentation and reporting. Implement front‑end and logic changes required for experiments across landing pages and product pages. Analyse user behaviour, identify friction points, and propose improvements to enhance lead generation and conversion.
  • Technical SEO / AEO Implementation & Web Performance: Own the implementation of technical SEO improvements, including crawlability, indexation, metadata, canonical tags, structured data, redirects, internal linking and content optimisation, informed by SEMrush and Google Search Console. Partner with Marketing to translate organic search priorities into front‑end, CMS and technical enhancements, with an understanding of how JavaScript rendering and component design affect search visibility. Use analytics and behaviour tools, including GA4, GTM and Crazy Egg, to identify performance issues and opportunities for UX, conversion or SEO optimisation.
  • Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work with Designer to transform UI/UX requirements into responsive, high‑quality web experiences. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to refine messaging and improve page‑level conversion. Support content and campaign launches, ensuring landing pages and templates function correctly.
  • Quality, Testing & Continuous Improvement: Debug and resolve website issues, bugs, CMS and integration issues, providing clear reproduction steps, evidence and requirements. Participate in code reviews and adopt best practices for maintainability, accessibility, security and performance. Maintain documentation for features, processes, and integrations to support operational efficiency.
  • Competitor & Market Insight: Monitor competitor websites for UX, design, conversion tools, and best‑of‑breed practices that could be applied to Moneycorp. Share recommendations for innovation, improvements, and emerging trends.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Knowledge, Skills & Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in front‑end web development, although demonstrable capability and experience in a commercial or marketing‑led environment are more important than length of service. Demonstrable mid‑level experience with HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, React and modern frameworks. Practical back‑end knowledge covering APIs, integrations, data structures, authentication and common web architecture concepts; able to read API documentation and communicate requirements. Hands‑on experience with CMS platforms such as Contentful or WordPress, including templates, content models, reusable components and content‑led website builds; Contentful experience is an advantage. Strong understanding of technical SEO/AEO implementation and its relationship with front‑end development, CMS structure, rendering and website performance. Practical familiarity with GA4 and Google Tag Manager, including event tracking and data layers; exposure to CAPI and HubSpot is beneficial. Strong problem‑solving skills across both UI and server‑side issues. Ability to work collaboratively with designers, marketers and technical teams. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality, well‑tested code. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. Effective time management and the ability to prioritise across multiple workstreams.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable working with HTML, CSS/SCSS and JavaScript, and building reusable components in React and Next.js. Able to take Figma designs and turn them into accurate, responsive website pages. Working knowledge of REST APIs or GraphQL, JSON, HTTP requests, authentication and error responses. Experience with server‑side or serverless development is beneficial. Familiar with GA4 and Google Tag Manager (GTM), including event tracking and data layers. Experience integrating and managing tracking through HubSpot, including forms and analytics. Basic understanding of Facebook (Meta) CAPI for server‑side event tracking. Confident using Git and GitHub in shared codebases, including branches, pull requests, merging and code reviews; this is an essential requirement. Good debugging skills - able to troubleshoot front‑end, CMS and integration issues, inspect API requests and responses, and clearly document technical findings. Strong understanding of core web performance, accessibility, Core Web Vitals and technical SEO/AEO considerations.
  • Education / Qualifications: Credentials in UI/UX, website development, analytics.
  • Languages: Fluent English, both written and verbal. Additional languages would be advantageous.
