The Senior Data Protection Manager will join our team and enhance our data protection framework, supported by the data protection team. Reporting to the Data Protection Officer, you will have a range of responsibilities directly related to data protection.
What You’ll Do
- Working closely with the rest of the data protection team and the business, you will help Moneybox build a best-in-class data protection program.
- Support the continuous improvement of Moneybox’s data protection framework.
- Develop and deliver training and awareness to enhance Moneybox’s data protection arrangements.
- Provide considered, pragmatic advice on adhoc and project based data protection matters.
- Data protection risk management including monitoring, periodic reviews and reporting.
- Ensure third party risk management and due diligence is robust and appropriate.
- Contribute to broader work by the team, including periodic reviews, to continually enhance controls.
- Assist with regulatory and other ad hoc projects to deliver change.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining policies and procedures.

Experience and Skills
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in second line functions.
- Data protection experience with a detailed knowledge of UK GDPR, DPA and PECR.
- Knowledge of PSD2 would be a bonus but not required to apply.
- CIPP/E and/or CIPM accreditation.
- Experience identifying and implementing improvements.
- Great communication and listening skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
