Director of Treasury in London

This is a newly created position driven by Moneybox's exceptional growth. The Director of Treasury will be instrumental in driving treasury strategy and delivering best in class operations and governance. Treasury at Moneybox isn't just about managing banking counterparties, it's about leveraging technology and financial products to optimise liquidity and commercial return within a given risk appetite. Assisting and questioning product development, helping set the company's strategic direction, and delivering quality coaching to get the best out of your team.

What You'll Do

• Being a Director at Moneybox means you play a vital role in helping define company strategy through cross-functional steering committees, quarterly planning meetings, and management committees.
• You are core in helping maintain the strong culture through living and promoting the Moneybox values.
• The role is a trusted advisor to the VP Finance, with direct exposure to our Chief Executive Officers and Chief Operating Officer.
• You take end-to-end ownership of Treasury, acting as a high-trust role model who leads with humility and radical honesty.
• You oversee day-to-day operations with a relentless focus on collective results, ensuring accuracy and efficiency are team benchmarks.
• You possess a genuine hunger to understand the 'why' behind the numbers, diving deep into behavioural data to ensure our liquidity strategy is built on solid foundations.
• You design KPIs and Risk Frameworks that provide the clarity and 'buy-in' necessary for the firm to progress with complete confidence.
• You utilise technology to eliminate manual friction, driving the functional tech strategy and holding the function accountable for delivering.
• You cultivate banking and counterparty relationships through authentic connection, ensuring external partners are aligned with our mission.

• You take full ownership of critical reporting (ICARA, MIF), ensuring our regulatory standing is beyond reproach through meticulous attention to detail.

• As a key member of the Treasury Management Committee, you lean into challenging debates to ensure the best decisions are made for the company.
