Responsibilities

- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and other cross-functional stakeholders (UI, Content, Product) to oversee the end-to-end delivery of advertisements, content, and other motion assets.
- Ensure the motion design team is deeply involved throughout the project lifecycle, through excellent stakeholder and project management.
- Manage a small team of motion designers and freelancers, taking responsibility for their output and career development while allocating resources effectively to balance high-priority business needs.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of all motion assets (including performance advertising, social media content, product demos, explainer videos, CRM, and Digital OOH), ensuring strategic alignment with design and copy, creative excellence, and alignment with team goals and objectives.
- Join regular team pitch sessions, bringing dynamic concepts, storyboard ideas, and industry trends to the table in response to briefs.
- Lead creative brainstorming sessions, helping the wider team visualise how campaigns can be elevated through animation and video, and take the leading role on motion-led campaigns and executions.
- Act as the guardian of the brand in motion, maintaining and evolving our Motion Principles and guidelines.
- Ensure consistent behavioural characteristics (easing, speed, transitions) across every touchpoint and lead cross-functional sessions on how motion enhances the user experience.
- Support the Head of Brand and Creative as a primary guardian of the brand, acting as a point of contact across the business.
- Oversee the organisation of motion assets and establish robust workflows (including server structure, rendering pipelines, and template creation).
- Implement relevant tools (ie. AI and automation) to maximise the team’s speed, quality, and output.
- Work with stakeholders to track video and motion performance against KPIs (e.g., VTR, CTR), using insights to iterate, test, and optimise creative solutions for maximum commercial impact.
- Champion the power of motion, influencing and inspiring designers across Moneybox.
Who You Are

- Possess a showreel of beautifully crafted motion work spanning 2D animation, kinetic typography, video editing, and social advertising. (3D experience is a bonus).
- Demonstrate mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiarity with tools like Rive, Lottie, or Cinema 4D.
- Possess strong storytelling skills, demonstrating a holistic view of the creative response that considers rhythm, sound design, copy, and visual design.
- Bring 2+ years of management experience, with a track record of mentoring motion designers, conducting code/project reviews, and clarifying briefs to set the team up for success.
- Offer strong project management skills, able to balance high-end creativity with commercial pragmatism and the realities of render times and deadlines.
- Communicate clearly, articulating motion rationale (the "why" behind the movement) effectively to build relationships across the business.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, using lightweight processes and quick iteration to make a significant impact.
- Take full ownership of your work, obsessing over the details—from keyframe velocity to audio syncing—while remaining curious and eager to learn new skills.
- Share our passion for the FinTech industry and helping people build wealth.
