About Moneybox

At Moneybox, our mission is to give everyone the means to get more out of life. We're guided by our belief that wealth isn't about the money, it's about the means to more - more freedom, opportunities, possibilities, and peace of mind. Moneybox is an award-winning wealth management platform, helping over one and a half million people build wealth throughout their lives, whether they're saving and investing, buying their first home, or planning for retirement.

Job Brief

The Customer Strategy area owns the end-to-end creation of in-product messaging, content and experiences that drive action and help customers unlock the full value of Moneybox — work that has to be creative, engaging and impactful while feeling like a seamless part of the wider product.

We're looking for a Product Designer to raise the quality bar for interaction, visual design, motion and product thinking across these high-impact surfaces. This is a high-autonomy role with real ownership — you'll shape the underlying system and guidelines, not just the execution layer — tackling commercially aligned problems that increase clarity, conversion and long-term engagement. You'll be part of the UI, Systems and Content team, reporting to the Design Lead.

What you'll do:

  • Raise the quality bar for interaction, visual design, motion and product thinking within the Customer Strategy area and across the whole team.
  • Partner closely with Product to deliver against commercially aligned briefs with measurable outcomes.
  • Turn data and customer feedback into designs that clarify value and drive action.
  • Collaborate with Content and Marketing specialists to draft and refine copy that's clear, concise and on-brand.
  • Work closely with Engineering to ship designs with their craft intact.
  • Co-own the overall design language, underlying Design System(s) and guidelines.
  • Seamlessly integrate the Moneybox brand into the product by collaborating closely with Brand Designers.
  • Influence beyond your own area and articulate trade-offs clearly.
  • Use AI tools and build workflows to drive efficiency and enhance creativity.
  • Deliver experiences across native iOS, Android and responsive web.
  • Build WCAG AA accessibility standards into every decision.

What this role isn't:

  • A typical feature-led Product Design role suited to generalists.
  • A Brand or Marketing Design role — product expertise is required.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years designing high-quality digital products, with genuine native mobile experience.
  • Strong visual craft and systems thinking, plus a solid grasp of accessibility standards.
  • A balanced portfolio that also demonstrates product expertise, business and customer impact.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, evolving priorities and trade-offs.
  • Experienced in using research, behavioural insight and data to inform decisions where available.
  • Strong ownership: you independently seek answers and make decisions when appropriate.
  • An iterative approach and a growth mindset.
  • Clear, confident communication across disciplines and levels.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in financial services, banking, payments or other regulated environments.
  • Experience with CMS tools (e.g. Contentful).
  • Experience adopting AI within real workflows.
