Responsibilities

  • Build a specialist Learning Design function to deliver Money Guiders and Guidance & Education Systems at scale.
  • Lead, manage and develop a team of Learning Designers, ensuring high performance, consistency and continuous development.
  • Project‑manage the delivery of the training content pipeline, setting clear priorities and workload planning.
  • Provide coaching and oversight to ensure high‑quality training design and content development.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative and learner‑focused team culture.
  • Translate technical content into engaging learning experiences and ensure all solutions are pedagogically robust.
  • Lead end‑to‑end processes for content authoring, design, development and delivery across eLearning, webinars, workshops, micro‑learning, video and assessments.
  • Oversee the lifecycle management of a large digital learning library and ensure content remains relevant and aligned with accreditation, brand and organisational standards.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and hold accountability for consistency and effectiveness of all solutions.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers, vendors and internal stakeholders; hold accountability for supplier contracts, budgets and value for money.
  • Work collaboratively with platform operations, accreditation, events and subject‑matter experts to deliver programmes effectively.
  • Use data and insights to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of training solutions and lead continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and prioritisation of training solutions and ensure compatibility with digital learning platforms and systems.
  • Promote efficient and scalable ways of working to support learner growth.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Significant experience in learning and training design, leadership and team management.
  • Demonstrable experience with learning technologies including LMS/LXP, market‑leading authoring tools (e.g. Adapt, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Synthesia, Camtasia) and data/analytics tools.
  • Experience overseeing large‑scale training programmes and managing content portfolios across digital, non‑digital and blended formats.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, including with suppliers.
  • Ability to use data and evaluation to drive improvements in learning effectiveness.

Desirable:

  • Experience with skills and competency frameworks.
  • Knowledge of financial capability, money guidance or related sectors.
  • Experience with accredited training or digital credentialing.
